Art Director


Winsight is a leading B2B information services company focused on the food and beverage industry, providing insight and market intelligence to business leaders in every channel consumers buy food and beverage – convenience stores, grocery retailing, restaurants and noncommercial foodservice – through media, events, data products, advisory services, and trade shows.

Position Objective

We are seeking a new Art Director to join our team. We have many events and products serving different segments of the foodservice industry, so you will be designing a wide variety of things across digital, offline media, and events.

We’re looking for a strong conceptual thinker who is ambitious and passionate about ideas with high levels of craft. This person must have a strong point of view on design and composition, be able to think across various mediums, and be comfortable with digital and print activations and social executions. An ideal candidate will take initiative, ask questions, and hunt for opportunity in every brief.

We require at least 5 years of experience as an Art Director or related field.

Position Responsibilities

  • Bring big ideas that can work across all mediums and are excited to be heavily involved in every stage of the process, from conceptualization to creation
  • Produce high-quality work with a global and culturally relevant sensibility across a wide variety of audiences and placements
  • Must be a brand steward and will live to give our brands a voice, relevance and life
  • Work on a wide range of projects (event branding, signage, social media, media kits, video editing, presentation decks, and much more)
  • Negotiate with vendors to work within the team’s budget
  • Ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centered design process
  • Define or extend visual design systems to create a holistic and detailed approach for our brands

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • An intimate understanding of how event and marketing campaigns work
  • A keen eye for design, a solid work ethic, and great time management skills who can excel in a fast-paced and rewarding work environment
  • Ability to be highly adaptive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of all industry-standard design software required (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD & Premier Pro); animation knowledge a plus
  • Creative, open-minded, solution-oriented in their approach to problem solving
